I think as long as you've gotten high school credentials there's no problems. But if you do go to a real college you're going to run into some big problems. If you go to a real college there's going to be drinking and possibly some drug use around so your parents won't exactly be crazy about that. Plus the average American goes to college when they're around 18 or 19 so those 3 or 4 years of not saving and spending by your parents may force you to get some scholorships. But I'd say the quicker you get the experience the better off you'll be in the long run so I'd say if your parents approve it and you have the academic requirements then I'd say go for it. But it won't be as fun if you go now because when you're older you can legally do more stuff.

You don't say what your ambitions are about a music college, but, assuming you have the talent, you could certainly audition for a music college. The entrance requirements for Juilliard are:
Criteria for Acceptance
A serious commitment to music training and a career in music performance.
Exceptional talent and potential as a performer.
Broad and thoughtful interest in the world of music, including its historical traditions and contemporary trends.
A clear dedication to artistic excellence and a desire to exercise artistic leadership.
A high level and quality of previous training and musicianship.
Ability to sightread music.
Personal maturity and a generosity of spirit essential to ensemble work.
Good luck.

you don't have to be any particular age to go to college. however, I would suggest waiting until you're at least 17 and ready to be out on your own. college could be tough at your age b/c older students will give you a hard time since you're so young.
