I would say start when you are ready. If you are ready right afte a break up, it's okay to start dating that second. If you still love the person and feel like there might be a chance between the two of you, then you can wait or let the person know how you feel. But since you are not together anymore, technically you are free to do what ever you like. As for me, if I am really in love, I would actually start dating just to get that person out of my mind!!

i would say so at a glance. but it really depends if the relationship was good or bad and why and how it ended. if he is a lovely person, it is too soon to start dating. if he was terrible and lying and cheating on you, don't think for a second and move on. good luck whatever you decide to do.

Just question your reala motives. Are you simply on the rebound? Can you honestly say that you're over your ex? Time heals. Try not to make more of a mess of things. Do what feels right.
