The internet is an online world where you can look up things and keep in touch with billions of different people.
In order to post that question, you have to be on the internet.
You have to use the internet in order to access any websites, (i.e. the "www.________.com" sites)

I have no clue. I've never heard of it. But, if you mean "internet", it's like this little thingy that connects you to stuff all over the world. You're on it right now if you're reading it. It allows you to buy stuff, research stuff, etc. 'Twas invented by the military, by the way.
