Right now I'm on Lithium and Tranxene.

When I go into an episode (99% are manic) I take Risperdone, Depakote, Levomepromazine, Tripadal, and I also get shots each night to help me sleep.

When I have a depressive episode, they put me on an anti-depressant, and the next day I'm manic.

I've tried a bunch of other medications before settling on Lithium. Even Lithium didn't work the first time I was on it. But I've tried Depakote (still used when I have a manic episode), Tegretol, Zyprexa, Risperdal (again, still used when I have an episode), Seroquel, Lysanxia, and Tanxene (still on).

Lexapro, Depakote ER and Xanax (as needed)

have also take Klonopin, Prozac, and Trazadone none of which worked. Trazadone gave me the most vivid and life like dreams I've ever had... to the point where I couldn't tell if conversations or events were in my dreams or really happened (kinda scary)

Currently: Lithium and Klonopin

Previously: Neurontin, Topomax, Ativan, Seroquel, Trazadone, Lamictal and Haldol (only in the hospital) Oh yeah! Risperdal too.
