I think applying a warm washcloth several times a day does relieve some of the pressure.

Whenever I've had one, it pretty much just went away on its own. Keep the area clean.

I feel for you. I HATE stys. Good luck.

Soak a washcloth in hot water and just lay it on your eye for a while. The warmth will help bring the sty to a head so it can drain.

Other than that, I don't know of any home remedies, but they do sell stuff in Walmart called Stye. It's an oily stuff in a little tube that you put right on the sty. It helps.

EDIT: Don't do what the guy above me says! Jeez!

Go to Google and type in Home remedies for a sty. You will get several results. But keep a warm wet rag compressed all day. It will help with the swelling and draw it out.

An ole wives tale that really works take a gold band ie wedding band and rub on it (after you've washed it of course). It will be gone tomorrow. Or a hot rag and apply. A sty is a clogged pore. The heat will help to open the pore and unclog.

You should put a warm, wet washcloth on it 3 or 4 times a day for like 5 minutes at a time. I just had one a couple of weeks ago and this cleared it up in a couple of days. There's nothing "fast" that i know of.

Ooh, also, if you're a girl and wear eye make-up discontinue use until it clears up. You don't want to cause any additional irritation.

Use a warm compress - take a wash cloth and soak it in warm water.....Hold it over the sty...the heat will draw it out.

soak it with warm water for awhile, then put tea tree oil on it. don't get it in your eye though, it stings like heck! get the purest stuff you can find. they have it at walmart, it's cheap. i don't know how well that brand works for a sty, but the brand i used cleared it up in six hours, but i special ordered it. it's all the same i guess, so it's worth a try.

A warm washcloth over it helps alot with the itching. The best way to speed healing is to get an optical form of Neosporin.
