it depends on youre activity level. not your height and weight. if you are more active you need 2000 but if you arent then anywhere from 1200-1500.
it depends on your metabolsm too.... experiment with the amount of vlories you eat daily, monitor your weight to see which caloric amount is right for you. you know if you are eating 1500 and gaining weight yuou need to lower your intake.

but thsoe numbers are the standard numbers. check out www.mypyramid.gov... if you go to my pyrmaid plan and enter the information it asks for it'll give you feed back on the amount of calories you nmeed a logn wit hthe amount of servings a day of fruit, vegies, daires, protein etc....

How tall is the woman? How active is she? How much does she weigh? Just as women don't all come in one size, their caloric needs don't all roll in at the same number. If your hypothetical woman is about 5'4", andweighs about 120 pounds, she needs about 1200 calories a day if she is moderately active and not trying to gain or lose weight. And if she's pregnant, all that goes out the window. She needs extra calories as the pregnancy advances.

It all depends on your weight, if you weigh over 200lbs you should eat 2000 calories a day, if you weigh under120 you eat 1200 calories a day. Like I said it all depends on your weight.

I've been working with a trainer for several months, and she gave me the hand-written formula similar to this calculator. To lose weight, you need to burn more calories than you take in.

For me, I need to keep my daily caloric intake below 1900 to have fat loss, exercising just 3 times a week.
