I'm fed up with reading comments/celebration about us killing the 'evil' ppl. Everytime I see the word 'evil', I think of how ignorant/stupid the author who typed it is.

Is it 'EVIL' to defend your country in the only manner you can when your country has been UNjustifiably occupied? I mean we basically did just walk into Iraq for no reason at all and begin to dictate how they were suppose to live.

Some would say we are 'liberating them against the Saddam regime'. Hello ppl... they didn't ask to be liberated!! We decided for them.

Wouldn't we do the same by creating militias/insurgents to fight back if the shoe were on the other foot? Or do you think we would just lay down and give up our way of life if we were occupied?

Wait we did use insurgents/militias DURING THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION because we were overpowered by British troops that our military couldn't take head to head. I guess we were 'EVIL' then?

Open your eyes ppl! This is called MURDER! Who r the real evil ones here?

Quite correct. Too, don't let it affect you to the point of inflammatory speech. Everybody knows, nobody cares. How do you navigate in such waters.

If you can see these things, you have an idea what truth is. First off, man is flawed. Not to be fully trusted even at his best.

Madison Avenue makes a living presenting a doctored view of the truth. Peace within yourself is the objective and not to fall prey to what others do making you like themselves.

Cynicism isn't in view here. A sober outlook on things based on the facts is what's in order.

I wish you success in the endeavor.

I agree 110%

I was reading some of the idiotic responses you got. Man some people are so stupid!

1. Terrorist were not in Iraq before the war.
2. Sure some of the Iraqis welcomed us at the beginning but ask them now? Either way, means nothing. We had no justification to go kill 100,000s...
3. Anti-American rhetoric? OMG what a stupid thing to say. Beach Bum actually just made the most interlligent PRO-American statement that I have heard in ages and made me feel proud to be an American that it is not completely full of blind ignorant people who want to dictate to the rest of the world how to live.
4. That guy who told you to go live in Iraq. ppl like that are so stupid. It's ppl like Beach Bum that love this country and feel passionate about its crimes.

Some of these people really believe that Iraq defending itself is terrorism. Wow.

Beach Bum, ignore these ignorant ppl. They have no clue what insight is. Keep up the good work and never be afraid to voice your views.

sorry to say it guy, but you've got it all wrong.

the Iraqi people DID ask for our help and welcomed us with open arms when we came in to liberate them. the Insurgents we are fighting against believe that we are taking away a way of life that 1 man created who they consider next to (God) - which he is not, nor could he ever be -

the fact is, that Sadam killed thousands of his own people for no real reason then they said "no" to him or looked at him wrong. the man had to be stopped. the people we are fighting against were the ones who were under his wing and who he had brainwashed into thinking he was holy. it may not be their belief that he was evil or that what they are doing is evil, but if you look at it from a sane persons point of view, giving a torn nation their own government (which they voted on and agreed to - both the suni and the sheeite) is a feat we should be proud of. we are in no way, shape, or form telling these people what they can or cannot do. they have made their own laws as a free nation and for once in the muslem cultier, different sects are agreed on who should lead them, because they all voted on their new government.

The insurgents in Iraq are not the people of Iraq, but are led by members of terrorist groups. The people of Iraq welcomed us....remember back when Saddam was first deposed? Dancing in the streets, joyous celebrations...ever seen photos of Iraqi elections? more joyous celebrations. Get your nose out of liberal rag mags and read a real newspaper.

More in the long line of anti America rhetoric from the beach bum. Open your eyes beach bum as the only people we are intentionally killing are terroists in a place that is better off without Hussein. Their way of life is already better in many ways but nobody wants to believe it and the media fails to report it.

Ask the Iraquis if they're glad to have been liberated from Saddam. Ask our soldiers over there if most Iraquis didn't greet them with joy.

Is there a question somewhere in this---or did you just want to post your opinion and look only for people who agree with you. Everyone has different opinions. This for QUESTIONS.
