I think it depends on the person. I'm one of those people who get headaches a lot. Of course it's difficult when I have a headache. But overall, I'd say I'm happy. I just try not to worry and take life one day at a time.
One thing you'll notice in many people (who have frequent health problems) is that they have a great sense of humor. When you have health issues, you have to have a great sense of humor. Otherwise you'd be depressed all the time. Those with a sense of humor are the happy ones. The people without humor are more often depressed. Those are my thoughts anyway.
P.S. Tilda52000 is right. Migraine sufferers do feel a lot of guilt about their health. I know I do. I still try to look for things to be happy about though. Doesn't always work but it's better than nothing.

Headache and Happiness is individuals personal issue and feeling. Somebody else can not consider you being happy or not based on your headache.
But headaches are definitely too mind diverting and painful to be happy.

my husband suffers from sinus headaches. and he is the grumpiest pain in my a** he has a headache at least twice a week that's a good week and grrrrrrrr. so no people with headaches aren't usually happy I know when I get a headaches I'm not very happy but i don't get them very often.

I couldn't say for other people but headaches have certainly never made me remotely happy. Maybe it's just me but having a hammer banging away on the inside of my skull has never yet managed to put a smile on my face. But that probably isn't what you're asking about.

I get frequent headaches, but I'm a happy person. I just try to slip in a little nap whenever I get a bad one.

well i suffer from headaches but there is no way in general that they will be considered happy. its a possibility. I am a happy person, that also get angry, pissed off agitated, sad etc.

why would someone be happy with a headache? unless they are happy with what gave them the headache....alcohol,coke....
