i'm 15 and i'm trying to become more active so i can always have something to do instead of sitting around all day and reading books and dancing and listening to music. i am also trying to lose a bit of wright with it.

im in the exact same situation. im 16, and even though i dont really need to lose alot of weight, i wish i were more active... the only way to become more active and to stay active is to make ur activities fun. for instance, if you decide to go jogging, take a friend with you to keep you company and to encourage you.. choose the sports that you enjoy most and practice them regularly.. remember you can also get active indoors.. if you are home alone or have nothing to do, try doing a few sit-ups followed by some side bends.. GOOD LUCK



ps : its always a good idea to make a workout playlist on your mp3 player (if u have one) that contains all the songs that stimulate you to get active and pump it up!

Get outside and go for a walk or run. Do some gardening. Mow the lawn. Join a sports team. Go swimming when your local pool opens for the summer. Offer to do yard work for your neighbors.

bike riding is excellent...works all muscles at once and good aerobics...swimming too
