I've been a competitive bodybuilder for a long time and many women as they get to know me have said they were turned off by my build until they got to know me. They believe I should be looking for a woman that is very muscular or seriously into working out. Is this true?

I think you should go with what you are interested in. If you don't wnat a woman who is into the same thing as you then don't do it.
I can't talk for every woman here...but...
I don't get turned off by a very muscular man... I get turned off when all he can talk about is working out and the stuff involved with that.
But I think that if you find someone you like and they aren't interested in the body building...and they like you...go for it.

i agree... i think overly muscular men are not so attractive. you need to find someone with similar interests... like an aerobics instructor or personal fitness instructor.

I know I do. But it all depends on the girl. I like my men to be in shape, but not too built.

i do sometimes muscles aren't sexy @ all i like to look but when it comes to have sex with a muscular male it ain't working for me

i honestly couldn't bring myself to get into anything with a guy buldging with huge muscles. it seems a little unnatural to me and the thought of them being physically close with me... well..there's too much muscle in the way!

yes...it looks so gross...built is okay...overly muscular is just plain gross...but that is just my personal opinion
