I am a Mexican citizen and I perfectly understand the feelings behind the Minutemen. I think many Mexicans would to the same if we were being flooded by illegal aliens who would use up our resources under the protection of an immoral government who doesn't look after the rights of its citizens (and taxpayers). And I totally diasagree with Mexicans jumping over the fence claiming "poverty", when they have to pay the "coyotes" up to 6000 USD a head.

What I don't agree with in the least is just how quickly American citizens resort to guns. That speaks of American society as having a XVI century mentality, killing instead of finding other more moral, smarter solutions to their problems. It's sad to have evolved into such a great and unique nation, shrouded by the most intolerant and medieval way of thinking. The Germans also have lots of problems with their immigrants, but, despite their past records of sheer intolerance, they don't shoot "trespassers" neither do they burn the Ghanan or the Turkish flags. I believe Germans are a lot smarter than the average Americans.

The real reason for you having this problem is that YOU Americans keep hiring cheap labor. If Middle America weren't so greedy, this wouldn't be happening in the first place.

A few comments on your "video" (PowerPoint Slideshow, sorry):

1. Lame kid's drawings.
2. The Chinese were but slaves building the tracks.
3. Iwo Jima? It was a fake! Those soldiers weren't even in a combat situation, everyone with a sound mind knows that.
4. "Screw you Fox", just before "God bless America"? God is listening, dude.

The minutemen are conservatives typically and a small group that can't effect an election. The illegal immigrants represent votes that liberals and even some moderate conservatives think they will win after given amnesty, citizenship and the right to vote. That is why politicians think the minutemen are bad and the illegal aliens are good.

That's why the problem of illegals has gone on for decades and we now have an estimated 12 million illegals in our country. I haven't heard about any Mexican invaders being shot yet. Have you? The time may come (after all these years) for last resort. I am damn sick of pressing 1 for English, not done for Italian, French,German, Chinese, etc, immigrants. Why have Hispanics consistently gotten special treatment in our country? Thank you Minutemen.

I support the minute men and I believe the illegals are very bad. Instead of trying to help their own country, they come here to try to moach off of ours. No wonder Vicente Fox wants them to stay in USA.

Not to be a conspiracy nut here but I think Fox wanted Mexico as the 51st state. There needs to be a Mexican president that is a strong leader and isn't corrupt and has the power to fix and clean up Mexico. I hope one is elected in the next elections.

Some people think the MInutemen are bad,because, those same people, are either illegals,have relatives that are,or they are totally CLUELESS!!! I've read some posts on here that say Minutemen are shooting people!!! They have NEVER shot anyone!!!!! And,a majority of the Minutemen,are retired police officers,and retired military!!!! They screen people who want to join,because of the very fact that they do NOT want some loose cannons joining them!!

Another reason people perceive them as "bad" is because of that DUMBASS, Vincente Fox, has been calling them vigilantes!!! I can understand why HE does it,because he wants all the MONEY the illegals bring back to mexico!!!!
But what i will NEVER understand,is why OUR elected officials,from Bush on down,calls them that!!!!

I do worry about vigilantes because I think someone some time will try to start an incident. I think it is to the Minutemen's credit that there hasn't been one yet.

I'm confused as to why American citizens have a problem with the Minutemen Project. They are actually holding up our Constitution and amendments to sever and protect our nation. I just don't understand why people come to America to protest and they wouldn't do in their own country to better things for themselves and their nation.

Not bad just Americans (of all nations-including Indians)protecting their rights which are being stepped on.
It might turn ugly and we will hear outcry-but they have a right to protect what is theirs.
I feel they are true Americans standing up to illegal activity because their government will not because they want to be popular more than protecting their own. Even Mama bear protects her children.
