i'm a nice guy and i want a nice girlfriend. i don't want to approach a girl and not say the right words and make her not like me. i want to know how is the best way to say "Hi" and spark a conversation.

Well, I'm 25. There is nothing you can do to make a nice girl like you other than be yourself. You don't want to start off being EXTRA and then after you guys are together, you flip the script on her. If you are a nice guy, she will appreciate that.
Always remember to show respect, we like that. Always remember to be honest. Also, don't become a bugaboo dude. That's the worst. Just let things happen once you find a girl you like. Ask her out. Don't call 6 and 7 times a day but do call at least once. If she doesn't answer, wait on her to call back. (leave a message of course) Not a long I miss you already message, just a simple hey, I thought about you and wanted to talk, call me back when you get a chance. If she doesn't call back, give it two or three days before calling her again.
Remember, you are only 18 and most 18 year old girls aren't very mature. If you have time for games, cool, play. If you don't, tell her up front that you are not interested in any games.
P.S. Don't try being a player, NO girl likes that.

Well yea the best thing to do is have confidence but its alot easier to have confidence when that ice is broken and since women are natural born talkers make the girl come to you. Let her catch you looking at her a few times to let her know your interested, make a few "looks" if necessary and sooner or later she will be saying hello to you. Often times the most impressive words are those left unspoken.

If your truly a nice guy than you won't have a problem.Just go up and say hi and introduce your self.I always prefer that than those lame pick up lines.

go straight up to her and ask her name, this will tell her that you are intrested, and then you can start talking about what she likes, and what she looks for in a guy. doing this will help her thinik your intrested and at the same time, work your way towards geting in her pants =D

if you are yourself, and aren't nervous - you'll do fine! girls can smell fear, like horses, and it turns them off. Most like a sense of humor as well - try to bring that out before asking them out on a date. good luck!!
