Why are Canadians better at catching terrorists than Americans? (Maybe we just politely asked them to come to the cop shop.)

I don't know that they're better. The US has thwarted dozens of terrorist attacks in the last few years, including attacks in Washington DC and Los Angeles.
It's amazing that we can discover and track such small organizations, then attack and catch when the start to gather the explosives. It's quite an effort.
You assume Canada is better than America, why is that? You may be ignoring US victories over terrorism.
