yes sex matters but sex is a physical need has nothing to do with love at all if you find a hot guy or girl that turns u on enjoy it but be careful

but like... if ur bf/gf loves u, they dont need sex from u- sex is just a love connection btw. two poeple who care and love each other a lot, and are willing to do anything for each other- no matter wat consequences sex may bring
