Well, I have been in this situation before. When the person you love loves someone else, you have to make a choice. You can choose to move on or you can choose to fight for him. You have to decide what your heart can handle.
If you're going to fight for him, try being his friend again. Let him see that you are a fun and easy going person. Act like it doesn't bother you that he is with someone else.
The worst thing that could happen is that you two could really become friends again and you could end up loving him in a different way. You could be happy for him.

You are capable to love more than one person. Are you sure it is love or lust that you are feeling for this person?? As long as you are not cheating on the person the you are with then I really don't see a problem.
