It depends on what they do before asking for my number. If a guy asks for my name first, or tries to find out if I'm single before asking for my number, I tend to think he's a nice guy. When someone I've never met before walks up and demands my number (guys that do this never seem to ask- it's always "give me your number"), I roll my eyes and walk away. I deserve more respect than that.

Well to me i think if you don't even know there name then there a playa! No it is never insulting!Well flattering i don't know that is Wac if you think it is flattering when a guy asks you for your number then you got some serious issues!!!

It just depends on how many other girls he's approached during the evening...it's a numbers game.

depends how long hes been talking to the girl..
If he asks her straight away before even getting to know her a little it will make her think that it is just for her looks or to get into her pants.
But if you've been chatting for like 30 mins or more then she might think "This guy is really interested in me."

Yes it deffinately depends... because if they guy is talking to u, and is all like, "sup baby wanna come ova tonight" complete player- but if hes really nice, sweet, and fun and outgoing, and asks for their number, they seem really sweet, and id give them my #, if that was the case
if its the playa's example, its insulting
if it's the nice guyz example, its flattering

Depends if he calls or not, it's flattering some of the times. as long as he isn't nasty looking

if we just met and we haven't really 'clicked' i think he won't call anyway and i just think he's adding to the collection of #'s he has.this can be insulting. how desperate do you think i am?
but if we have a good start and a good small conversation and he asks for my #, i get excited/and or flattered. it really depends.

It depends on how he approaches you and if he tries to get to know you 1st.
If a guy comes up to me and say hey your hott can i get ur digits, im juz gonna blow him off...if he says hey and starts a decent conversation and then i say well cya and you say something like i like you do u think maybe i can get phone number so we can continue this conversation a lil farther...girls have a higher likely to give you the number that way then if you juz say can i get your digits?

I automatically think player, it depends on how he approach me like say he come up to me and say give me your number and i say no and he call me out my name he don't get girls but, say he say give me your number and i say no and he just walk away he don't care so he get girls.

depends in a bar they may only want to score a number and have no intentions of ever calling, Pluse it depends on the person if they seem sincere and want to get to know you better.
