My father did, and he had a fantastic time, didn't shut up about it for months. Take lots of dosh because the food's expensive and plenty of battery life for your camera, there is so much to see an experience and this is honestly the best way to do it.
Try not to sit next to the 'nutter' and enjoy enjoy enjoy!

Yes, I did this a few years ago, you'll love it. These cities are amazing. I dont know what Assisi is like since the earthquake. I was lucky to be there before that happened so I'm not sure how thats affected it, But my abiding memory is of the most stunning view of an unforgettable sunset looking down the valley from the hill terrace. I love coach tours and have been on a fair few in my time including crossing the USA twice and one of those whistle stop tours of Europe. (if its Tuesday it must be France etc :-).I love the comfort and convenience of coach travel, plus you get a great view from the high seating position. I'm sure you will have a great time and see some fabulous sights.

I've had a holiday in Sorrento. Rome is FANTASTIC. Absolutely unbelievable. Sorrento is OK< a bit iffy. Venice is unique, tho' very expensive. Definitely worth a vivit. Sorry, can't comment on the rest. Spend as much time in Rome as possible. Don't miss the Sistene Chapel or the Collusseum.
Have a great time

I would NEVER consider taking a coach tour of Italy. Travel is so amazingly simple and transportation is really cheap- you can easily plan a trip that suits YOUR needs and YOUR interests. Why visit Assisi if you're not religious? Why skip Pompeii if you love archaeology? Planning your own holiday is so much more rewarding, and you learn so much through the planning and research that goes into making your trip... well... YOUR trip.
