I suffer IBS and I guess only certain way to be sure and rule out other causes is to see a gp and have tests, symtoms of IBS can be simmilar to other problems.

However My symptoms of IBS are bloatedness abdominal pain constipation one day runs next often not moving my bowels for several days at a time, this can be controled with diet and mediction, Another sign of IBS is a mucus in your stools(poo)

I would go see my GP to rule out other things

I guess if u go just after u eat, and if u've REALLY got the runs, then u know. Think about the name of the term...irritable bowel, syndrome. Sydromes are chronic, u know when parts of u are irritated, and u know what bowels are. If u really wanna know, consult a dr, but this is just my laymen opinion.
