It depends how old you are. If you are older than 16 and he is 19 then the age thing doesnt seem too bad. But if you are like 14 and hes 17 then thats a bit wrong.

Oh and with him being your bros bestfriend as long as your brother has no problem with it its fine. And if your bother would have a problem with it think about why he is upset. Is it because you are taking away his best friend? Cause that would suck for him.

Also do you really really like the friend because if you guys go out for a few weeks or whatever and then have a big breakup it might cause tention between your bro and his friend.

You wouldnt want to break up thier friendship would you? Especially if they are really close and have been friends for a long time..

Goodluck

You don't say whether you are female and your brother's best friend is male, or if you are male and your brother's best friend is his (girl)friend. Those are two completely different situations, and now you see why you get such different answers (i.e., the first one and the second one.)

If your brother's best friends is a guy, provided that you are careful not to alienate him from your brother, I don't see anything wrong with it.

If your brother's best friends is a girl, then you must walk carefully. You should ask him outright whether he has any romantic interest in her himself. If he says no, then you are in the clear. But don't provoke your own flesh and blood to jealousy. That is a burden nobody should have to bear.

No, nothing wrong with that. Your brother might find it a bit odd, but besides that, everything should be fine.

Nah. Your brother might get a little freaked, and it will be awkward for a while, but he will get over it. Good luck.
