Well, that depends.
If you still live at home, or are under age 18, then it actually IS their business what you do in your bedroom. There are several reasons for this.
First off, if you are under 18, then they are your legal gaurdians, and have a legal and moral responsibility for much of what you do, in your bedroom or not.
If you still live at home, then they actually OWN your bedroom, as well, most likely, as much of the stuff inside of it, and they have both a right to know and a responsibility for whatever goes on in there.

If you want to be able to tell your parents that it is none of thier business, then you had better move out. If you don't live at home any more, then absolutely, what you do there is none of their business.

I know some teens who would but, let me tell you they are completely wrong. It is their house and you are to follow the rules while there. But, more importantly, they do so much for you. Don't disrespect them. They worry about you constantly, give you food and provide what you need, they pray and hope that you will make the right decisions. They are responsible for you until you are eighteen so they have every right to know what you are doing and with whom.
My son said that to me once and once only. I quickly told him he had three choices:
remove the door from his room
pay rent and then he could voice his opinion but he still had to follow house rules.
or sleep on the couch and I would lock the bedroom door.
Be thankful for what you have. Many children are abused, in foster homes, never met their parents, lay hungry in bed at night....you have parents that care. Get a grip and do the right thing.

If you're not paying rent (and even if you are) your parents still have final say on what goes on under their roof. They're only worried about you and looking out for your best interests. Maybe try talking to them and telling them what goes on behind closed doors if it's nothing bad. If it's guys they're worried about, then maybe keep the door open for awhile until they get comfortable that you're not doing anything wrong. If you are doing something wrong, take it outside your parents' home.

depends on WHAT you are doing, playing the caveman, or music too loud so it does affect the others in the house. There are rules for it, but if you are with your boy-/girlfriend it's up to you what you do.
depends on your and your friends age of course.

Only if you are past the age of consent and you are in your own place...

Other than that, if you are underage and/or it is their house, they make the rules and you must abide by them!!

Simple Rules. Their house, their rules. You dont like it, then go buy your own house coz if you rent, the landlord's rules also applies to you. Sorry. That is the way it goes. You will appreciate this when you finally buy your own house.

It would be none of their business what you do if it was your home but if "your bedroom" is in their house and they pay the bills it most definitely is their business. Sorry that's just the way it is.

I'm sure I said that to them hundreds of times, yes. But now the boot is on the other foot, so don't be so cheeky! Go and apologise at once!
