I think Jehovah's witnesses are very strict about attending other people's churches. Even if he says he isn't a Jehovah's witness, he may still feel nervous about choosing a new religion because of his upbringing. He might feel that if his family find out they will be angry or upset with him. Give him some time, if he wants to visit your church he will eventually, but don't push him to do what makes him uncomfortable!

You can't force him to go. You can encourage all you want, but do not pressure him. He'll go when (or if) he wants to. He may feel uncomfortable in your church or the church of his parents. He sounds like he wants to explore his beliefs. Let him do that. Just be there to help him with support from you. He may very well surprise you too. Just give him time. That's what he needs. Besides, if he goes to your church under the wrong reasons, then what does he gain from the experience? Nothing. Nothing at all. Give him space to explore and don't pressure him.

Maybe he feels like he does not need a church. Let him be who he is and do worry about him not going to your church.

Some people are under attack by Satan. When it cones to actually entering a church they can not. Pray for him hard.

Wouldn't it be easier to date within your own religion instead of trying to convince this guy to be yours?

Why should he have to go? Why can't you simply respect his decision and let him be?
