The camp is suspose to be in southern illinois? It is suspose to be for "bad" kids. I can't find anything online about it.

I don't know, but if you have a concern, why not try martial arts. Same thing, more balanced.

There is also a group called The Young Marines. it is comparable to Boy/Girl Scouts, wearing camouflage.

I was a staff member of the Chery Point company for 2 years, and it was the best time I had during my five years in the Marine Corps. You can find links to it on the Marine Corps League (sponsor orginization) website.

When i was 14 , my brother in-law (who was a jarhead for life), got me into the "Devil Pups" , a 2 week summer camp for kids that was at Camp Pendleton in Sothern California, San Onofre to be exact. They did the whole route - buzzcuts for everyone, discipline discipline discipline, lots of running and marching , scare tactics , yelling , the whole bit. It was pretty cool. Oh btw- i wasn't a bad kid, i just wanted to go, and back then it wasn't for bad kids , it was strictly voluntary.

Yeah, only they have it under investigation because the guards there suffocated a kid. Good luck being a lazy *** parent! Enjoy having asshole rednecks raise your 'little marine'!
