Do yourself a favor and stop watching all the hype on TV about bird flu. They talk this subject up to get more viewers not so much to enlighten the public. Concentrate on what you CAN control in your life; not what you have absolutely no control over. It will ease your mind.

More than likely, it will develop in the United States. They suspect that the birds will travel thru Alaska, and to the Continental U.S. They actually detected the flu in a bird found dead in the U.S. Though it is not a big threat at the moment, it could be. Always be prepared, and you have nothing to worry about.

I wouldn't worry; the only serious cases have occurred with farmers who sleep with their chickens. It's just a case of hyped paranoia.

Maybe. Don't worry about it. What you've been hearing about is worst-case scenarios. Right now it's not a big threat.

I definitely think it's not a question of "If" it is coming here, it's a question of "when". I think there is a reason to be worrid for sure.
