I think it is a good idea to have games. It will most likely have people walking away saying that they had a good time. Some suggestions would be maybe groom trivia/bride trivia also there was this game I played where everyone puts a paper bag over their head and you tell the people to take off anything that they don't need, most people start taking off jewerly, shoes socks and alot of other things when in actual reality the only thing they need to take off is the paper bag. Its fun to watch. Hope I helped!

I would say pick a few games that are short and fun. I had to throw a shower, and did 3 easy games. It helps time pass, and also helps people relax and get comfortable. Limit the games though so people have a chance to mingle. The bride to be might be very upset if you don't have some games...

without the games it might be a very short shower. How about some simple ones, bridal bingo, groom/bride trivia, guessing game etc.

Nah, I wouldn't play any if they are arriving at different times and with that many people it would take too long anyway. If anything, have a door prize at the end by writing numbers or taping numbers to the bottom of the plate and choose one.

Call it a Tea instead of a Shower and skip the games.

It's fine not to have games. However, when you get a random group of strangers together, games are a great way to break the ice AND pass the time!

If it doesn't work out to be a fun thing I wouldn't stress about it. If not everyone (or majority) is going to be there at the same time nobody is going to mind that there's no games.

Don't play games! They're horrible and take too much time. Let the people sit and chat and talk to the bride-to-be. Then let them watch her open her gifts. That should take up about as much time as you want.

I think it is perfectly fine not to play shower games. In fact at my shower, I would prefer that we didn't play the games!

From a guy...
Skip the games.... Combine the shower with a 'bows and arrows' party... That should break the ice pretty well...
