None, most share ware etc has bugs or ad ware, any other site is illegal, and there are now snare sites set up by governments to capture Internet fraud.
All you have to ask yourself is does the risk out way what you get in return.

i mean other than your tradition P2P server nonsense (unreliable, tons of viri) I use torrents. Slightly more complicated, but infinately superior. use a search engine like isohunt.com or thepiratebay.org or mininova.org to find what yer lookin for, download the torrent, and open it in a client. (i use bittornado.com's client) you can find virtually anything. most sites have a walkthrough for new users

Really depends on what you are after but http://www.filehippo.com is a good one, as well as http://www.download.com
But both these sites are for useful, legal, software, rather than illegal movies or music! But like I say, it all depends on what you are after!
