she gets them very often and it makes her whole little body shake

Hiccups are normal-in people talking,laughing,eating and drinking can cause them.In dogs barking eating and drinking.They are very normal.

our lab puppy had this too. it's caused by them eating in a certain position and getting air this can also cause gas so try putting up her food bowl so she doesn't have to lean so far down to eat it might prevent it.

i dont know mine does it too....you just answered my question on getting a puppy with my peek a poo....i bought mine for 350 also i wanted to know if you are located in virginia or if it was by chance that we just paid the same amout. the reason is i am trying to locate the breeder that sold me my puppy i lost the 3x5 card with her name and number on it. i am located in fredericksburg va if you happen to be in the same area and just happen to have gotton your puppy from the same breeder please let me know their number if you still have it thanks
