Love is blind. It cannot see the wrongs of a million years and it cannot hold against you what it does not see. The one who judges, criticizes, and holds grudges is not made perfectly in love for love is totally blind.

Love is to Fear what light is to darkness
Darkness itself does not exist. Darkness is absence of Light.
Fear itself does not exist. Fear is just absence of Love.
Our fears come from us thinking that we have the answers. That we have control. And since we make mistakes we also know that we do not have the answers.
But when we surrender our fears to God, then we experience perfect love. He always shows you the way and gives you the wisdom to make the right choice.

I don't think I would even want love without fear. There is no such thing as perfect love...fear is not a always a bad thing, there would be no courage without fear.

Fear is strickly an emotion. Love is an action verb... For God so "loved" the world, meaning he put the world and mankind first by making the ultimate gift of sacrifice "self" to save us all.
Jesus said "love" your neighbor as yourself, meaning to put their needs before your own. Love is not selfish. Love is giving of self.

There is a scripture which also says faith works by love. Fear and faith are opposites, therefore so are fear and love. Fear is to expect bad things to happen to you, and faith is to expect good things.

God is perfect love. We humans are incapable of perfect love because we are human but we can grow in that love through the grace of Jesus Christ who strenghtens us in all things.

1 John 3:16: We know what real love is because Christ gave up his life for us. And so we also ought to give up our lives for our Christian brothers and sisters.
