They are not gone. There a fewer now than in the past. Much of the problem I feel can be blamed on society. We are tolerant of rude and unethical behavior.

It is simple, in order to attract a Gentleman, you need to behave like a Lady. My husband (admittedly a British Army Officer), still stands when I enter a room or leave a table, seats me, and opens my car door and stands aside to allow me to precede him through doors. Why? because I expect it, because we are both properly brought up and this is the way we were taught to behave.
Equally, I take great care of him and show him the respect he deserves. Am I subservient? No. I am a Professional woman. We have equal standing in our relationship, and trust me, behind our bedroom door we are not faintly mannered! It's an interesting thing. If you show each other great respect it keeps your relationship on it's toes. Cultivate yourself. Work hard, find a style, expect the best and just watch what happens!

How do YOU talk to men? Who do you surround yourself with? Maybe the change needs to come from within you and stop trying to dictate how others should speak to you, think about this question for instance. If someone makes you feel like squat, and this goes on, maybe your hanging around the wrong crowd.

Easy. It's all about supply and demand, I say. Sure girl's say they want gentlemen, but they always go out with jerky guys. If y'all would take a stand and stop letting us treat you that way we might learn a lesson. At least that's what I think.
