Not sure of the spelling, but I know several people who swear by Aerborne. Good luck & hope you have a super vacation!!

I agree with the zinc lozenge. Also, this may sound strange, but it seems to work. Have somebody pour hydrogen peroxide in your ears. One at a time and let it sit there until it stops bubbling. It's going to drive you crazy at first to hear that snap, crackle, pop, but just give it a minute. It takes maybe 10 minutes for it to stop sizzling. Then turn on your other side and do the same. I don't know if it is coincidence or if this works, but usually the person with the cold feels much, much better 24 hours later.

An FDA approved medicine was released recently to Greatly reduce the severity and duration of the common cold. Ask your doctor, i think you need a perscription for it, but I know people who swear by it.

I would try zinc lozenges or zinc nasal spray. If taken early in a cold they can greatly reduce its strength and duration. It has to be taken at the first sign of symptons, if you wait the whole day it will be too late. Good luck.
