Did you mutally break up ? or did she break it off with you ?
It is healthy Not to Forget for awhile..then you need to tell yourself it' s never gonna be and really accept that and seek others out.
It's A Big Big World out there and if you had the Lifetime, you could More than Likely Fall truly in Love a Thousand times...and be hurt 999 times..
You know what helped me?? I went through this Same thing with my x..I remembered my GrandMother's advice - she was a Native American Indian.
She said, " While you sit home cryin'..the Others are All Out Dancing. Only you Feel the Pain, Only you Feel The Hurt.."
Take that advice..please ?

I feel ya bro. Sometimes certain songs trigger happier moments, watching outward displays of affection by other couples sends you into a tizzy, etc.
Tell you a fool proof system to get her out of your hair.
You have to keep busy doing something that not only benefits, rewards and satisfies only you. This is your time to focus ALL of your attention on you - after all, your breaking up is her loss, not yours - right?
It's a mind tease.
For me (female), my fix was going shopping for very skimpy bikinis, having a bikini wax, manicure, pedicure, new hair cut (I cut my hair when I'm mad at men), shopping for great island wear, bought tickets for 8 days and 9 nights to Nassau, Bahamas. I took my nephew, he was going through the same thing. When we saw that water, we were very impatient to spoil ourselves. We both met someone that very first day who took our mind off of who was that[?] the entire trip. We enjoyed the clubs, casino and especially room service.
So, stop moping. If you have to get a loan to do it "your" way, then get started. Only you know what would be your best splurge. Start now and you'll wonder why you ever felt sad in the first place.

think about everything that went wrong with the last one.. make the changes you need to make to improve the next relationship and then move on.. The improved new relationship will make you forget the last one very quickly... Don't get caught up in a loop. Make some changes.

Honestly, time and interaction with other people. Eventually you won't think about her as much, but if this was a recent breakup sometimes it takes a while to get over it.

Get a new one. You'll have forgotten the old one in about 10 seconds.

Keep your mind occupied with other things, sports, school or anything else. Of course finding a new girlfriend sure wouldn't hurt.
