A man is at work. He turns off the lights and falls asleep. 2 hours later he wakes up and goes home. On his way to work the next morning he buys a newspaper. He sees somthing on the front page and kills himself. Why?

The guy is a lighthouse keeper. He turned of "the light" as in the big lighthouse light... and in the middle of the night a ship crashed because he didnt have the light on. When he read about the crash in the news...he realized the crash was his fault... so he kills himself.
