More realistically, when insurgency will be eliminated and that the Iraq government can control any protest by itself. That's the Bush's administration goal.

However, the troops should go out as soon as possible because there will always be insurgency in Iraq as long as there are Americans. Most of the Middle East have something against the West.

Not that we should stay in Iraq, but if we just pull out now it would end up just like what happened in Vietnam so long ago. The "enemy" people would simple move in and take over there govt. immediately, or worse a neighbouring country would see the opportunity of a weak country and rich oil fields and simple come in with their forces and take over the country.

We should slowly pull out troops as more trained Iraqi Brigades become active. As we pull out we should keep reinforcements in Kuwait for if the Iraqi governent requires assistance in dealing with insurgents. I support the war, but it is their country and they need to learn how to govern on their own.
