Cats are notorious for their curiosity. They love spending time with their owners and sometimes feel jealous with other animals too. The best thing to do, is spend some quality time alone with your cat. Interact with her by playing with her and doing more fun things with her. And if this doesn't work, let her walk with you and your dog. Keep a watchful eye on her though, especially if you walk on the sidewalks in your town or city. If you live in the country still keep a sharp eye on her. Cats are mischievous creatures too. Make sure wherever you walk is safe for your cat.

Good luck to you and may you and your pets have a lifelong friendship and companionship.

She LOVES you and wants to share your activities. My little Ansin used to follow me and the dog EVERYWHERE, including several times on long back-packing trips. (He'd ride on top of my pack when he grew tired.)

One day he followed us on a short walk near home and was frightened by a loose dog and ran away. I searched and searched and put up reward posters and called animal control and pet rescue everyday, but never saw my little Ansin again.

I now keep pet cats on a harness and leash if we go away from home. You might have to carry Kiki more when she is on the leash, but she will still enjoy the walk and she will be safe.

I had a cat who would do that... RIP Ronnie. He was just like a little dog. Some cats are just different and feel the need to be with their owners everywhere. I loved it when my cat did that.

It's funny, I had a calico cat that did that, too. I just thought of it as a sign of affection.
And that she was a brave cat.
