In the book of Hebrews, sincere milk is for those who are new converts to Christianity and meat is for those who are mature in the word of God who have study to show that they are approved rightly dividing the word of God. In the book of Matthews, persecution is what Jesus is talking about. Christians are persecuted daily by those who don't believe in God and are killed and torture because of their beliefs. Jesus said it's because they hate me.

Yes; I hold my beliefs on the Bible alone.
Here are the straight forward answers and I don't believe there's any insults unless bible passages are?

Most(Matt.7:13) people hate (John 7:7; 15:23)Jesus so much that they (Col.2:8; Phil.2:21; Rom.10:3)won't follow him. They lose (2Cor.4:3-4)insight of the Word(Matt.7:21-23; Rom.1:21-22) and think other people that tell the truth are evil(John 15:18); they don't look at both sides. This happens to me alot; but they have a choice of what they want to believe(Joshua 24:15). That's why God will do this to them "And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie."--2Thess.2:11.

Most people don't know that the (few)true christians that don't follow the (image )(Rev.17:5; 20:4)beast's teachings will be persecuted(Rev.13:15) at the end. However after the ordeal; they will be with Christ the 1,000 years on (Rev.5:10)earth.

Matthew 22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endure to the end shall be saved.

I think it means that (as today) Christians are hated because of our belief in Jesus. Jesus was trying to warn his disciples that the road they chose was not going to be easy. but if they (we) endured to the end (the word END is translated : goal) you will be "Sozo" or "saved" (the translated word) which means to be safe or rescued. not saved as in salvation. we do not have to hang on for salvation's sake! that price was paid in full a long time ago by Jesus. and thank God it was a free gift, because no matter how good we were we would have never been able to "purchase" salvation.
as for Heb:5:13-14:
just as babies grow up , we as Christians also grow in the word, some of us get saved and stop looking for Biblical knowledge, and don't grow, then we have those who search for knowledge in the Bible and grow into maturity. have you ever tried to discuss something in the Bible with a new Christian and they have no idea what you are talking about? these are babes in Christ. never stop searching and growing!

Matt. 10:22 Lets us know we will be hated for being a Christian and living by the bible, but don't give up and you will be rewarded with eternal life.Heb. 5:13,14 Lets us know that people who just get saved will not understand a lot of the word, but as we have been saved and read the bible , our understanding will increase.

The bible also say to be a friend of the world is to be a foe of the LORD. If a christian is hated because their stupid trying to be liked by everyone there wasting their time. If a christian is hated for standing by the gospel which by its self is offensive and endures is truly saved. Sanctification is a process that comes by the refiners fire!

Hebrews 5 is definitely talking about spiritual maturity. Matthew 10 is talking about persecution. Because we stand up and call ourselves Christians, we will be persecuted ("hated"). If we stand firm in our faith and don't allow the persecution (hatred) to sway us from our faith, we will claim our salvation through Christ in Heaven.

He was speaking directly to the Apostles, many of whom would become the first martyrs. Sometimes people take the quote rather out of context and expect religious persecution. Sometimes they are right, but I don't think that it is something that everyone in this time and place will experience.

I hink you see it everywhere in the world today Christians are despised, belittled, and treated as a joke. We have been damaged by some who have used Christ as a screen to hide their true motives, and of course being imperfect when one of us falls in any way it invites the inevitable barrage of beiing labeled as hypocrites.

Those who follow Christ can expect to be persecuted for their faith. But if they hold on to their faith, they will win in the end.

You've seen it yourself, as indicated in your question. Mention your Christian faith, and you get ridiculed, insulted, -- and in some places even killed for your faith. So you might as well be prepared for it. But be assured that if you hold on to your faith, you will get through it. And often it is the enduring the persecution with love towards those doing it, that wins them in the end.
