People have been arguing about the different versions of the Bible. Unaware of the real history of translation. I am too, but what I want to point out is that, we shouldn't condemn other translations. What is important is the impact of God's Word in our lives. As Christians, are we living a life that is according to God's word? Why are we giving emphasis on things that does not do good to us but instead gives division to Christians of different denominations and different views on translated texts. For me, we should focus on the life that is transformed because of God's word. I believe that it is not just one translation that transformed peoples lives? How about the translations in other languages other than English? There are already thousands of people in the world who were transformed by God through His words written in the Bible. Translators use many versions and try to be accurate. We shouldn't be close-minded and condemn other versions. Let us focus on important matters.

I agree that the most important thing is to impact our lives with God's word. There are many omissions and changes with the modern versions. This is because of what manuscripts they come from. The KJB is no longer the "most popular" because of the "older and better" manuscripts found in the late 1800's. Because the modern versions come from these I don't trust them. It's not hard to see the vast amount of difference between them. What better to impact our lives with God's word than to use the Bible with 100% Truth. How confusing is it when there are literally a hundred different "translations"? I beseech you to do your research. check out the link below for an NIV comparison. In Christ, dave.

youngs literal translation is the best english as well as #2 the amplified...but you have to study the original hebrew which is very easy if you get a program called biblesoft 4.2.... biblesoft.com

drop the translators they are for those that only want to read G-d's word and not study it
learn to read the original and then you will not have these problems.

the real bible ..i mean which was revealed on jesus (p.b.uh)is the "bible of barnabas ".. it was changed after 300-400 yrs after jesus died .....
