My cat is in heat and I'm curious about something. She will yowl and act nutty when I let her roam the apartment - but yesterday, I was ill and I kept her in the bathroom with food, water, toys, blankets and her litter box and I didn't hear a peep out of her. Why wouldn't she yowl and caterwaul when alone in the bathroom while in heat but will do so when she is in the apartment with me all day? Any insight? I just think it odd. Thanks!

not sure why the bathroom makes any difference. maybe she feels that in that area the males wont hear her, not sure, but my cat when she came into heat did the same thing, howled all the time and at night. got her spayed and she no longer did it. your cat is calling for a male, so if your not going to have babies, i would have her fixed, she'll be a much better cat down the road, my female is much better and is more affectionate to us now.

It will final approximately every week. Then, in approximately 6 months, it is going to occur once more, for one other week. Get the cat spayed, then not more warmth issues! If you can not find the money for the method with a steady vet, seem into the low cost spay/neuter techniques on your discipline. Most SPCA/Humane Societies present such techniques. Hope this is helping.

yeh ur cats calling for males. But when our cats are in heat they like a lot of attention so maybe if shes in the bathroom she doesn't think she'll get ur attention.
