Read and study the Bible together and pray together - DAILY. Follow the Biblical principles you learn, such as the husband loving the wife as Christ loves the church and the wife loving the husband as the church loves Christ. The best advice (in my opinion): Love GOD first and your spouse second. God is to be your first priority in life and then your spouse. At first is sorta hurt me when I realized that my husband loved God more than he loved me, but then I started to see how he was putting me first above all the other wordly things and really focusing on me in a way he had never been able to do before! Since my husband and I made the committment to put God first our marriage has gotten better and better and better. No one is perfect and we all let each other down, but God will never let you down. Also, go to church together. Find a church that teaches the Bible (and not just opinions) and attend on a regular basis. You'll make so many friends and it will eventually feel like "home." I've found that we have three homes: our house where we lay our heads down at night, our church home where we fellowship with other believers and witness to non-believers, and our heavenly home where everything is perfect and Holy and we will live for eternity if we've accepted Jesus Christ and had a personal relationship with him.

Yes, I sure do have some good advice. Get a copy of "Why Not Women" by L. Cunningham. I suggest this because for too long, some churches have been preaching the wrong things about women in the church, marriage, etc. This wonderful book (written by a Christan man) shows you the truth about what the Bible says about this subject and much more. It is a must read for any Christian, male and female. I highly recommend it.

The Great White Hype.....while it does say its better not to marry ....im not sure you read the circumstances " Jesus replied , Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning. I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife except for marital unfaithfulness, and marries another woman commits adultery. The disciples said to him, "If this is the situation between a husband and wife, it is better not to marry." Matthew19:8-10

Love unconditionally, Pray always, Be thankful, Trust God, and remember you will draw more flies with honey (sweet words) than vinegar (harsh words)! Lets not forget the word we women hate most, submit. Submission actually is not what is has been made out to be. As a Christian wife we are called to be our husband helper, we do this by adapting to his purpose and calling. We are not a slave, a doormat, or a toy. Our husband are responsible for how they treat us and will be held accountable to Jesus!
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
1 Peter 3:3-5
Do not let your adornment be merely outward—arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel— rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God. For in this manner, in former times, the holy women who trusted in God also adorned themselves, being submissive to their own husbands,
Proverbs 25:15
By long forbearance a ruler is persuaded, And a gentle tongue breaks a bone.
Ephesians 5:20-22
giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another in the fear of God.Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord.
Marriage is a day by day commitment, there needs to be a lot of love, mercy and grace on the part of both the Husband and the Wife, with Jesus being at the center of every single thing you do!

Happily married for many years....#1 if your spouse loves God.....As a woman I know because my husband loves and honors God, he will love and honor me.The bible teaches that women are to honor their husbands and so are the husbands to honor their wives. This probably will make some women mad, but it is part of the wonderful design God had in mind for marriage. By honoring your husband, in all he does you honor God, and in the same because of the way you honor your husband he is deeper and deeper in love with you and honors you. Support his decision in the manner God intended and he will support yours. Your will grow so deeply in the spirit together and your marriage will be awesome, just how God planned it for us. It is when we go in separate ways in marriage the trouble starts. Doing anything that dishonors your spouse, anything against the teachings of God, anything selfish,is the beginning of big trouble.
If you are getting married please seek a councilor together one of spiritual help. always good to be informed before beginning anything. Pray together.can not stress that enough...PRAY>>>PRAY>>>PRAY together. as you grow in the spirit so will your marriage.
GOD BLESS!!!
