Not all of the egg shells are white. There are also brown eggs and even bluish eggshells.

Leghorn's have whitish shells, Rhode Island Reds have the brown shells. In addition, commercial suppliers will bleach the eggs, both to remove the poop (look at where the eggs come out), and to whiten them.. Farm eggs are never 'white' white

The major ingredient of an egg shell is calcium carbonate.( Chalk powder or lime ) ,it is white in colour , so egg shells are white.
The mottled or colored eggs are due to other chemicals present in varying quantity; but calcium carbonate (CaCO3) is always dominant.

You can get brown eggs too - it's just the type of chicken - white chicken = white eggs. Brown chickens = brown eggs.

The eggs shells are made by scale of calsioum carbonate.The basic coloure is white,this compound coloure is depand on impurity,if coloure is pink the impurity is may be pink.this only change by metal impurity.
