The New Testament expressly calls on believers to demonstrate practical care for those in prison. Remember those who are in prison, as though you were in prison with them; those who are being tortured, as though you yourselves were being tortured.( Heb.13:3.)
So why so much abuse to muslim prisoners in US jails....
CRITIQUE: If we are to take the Bible’s consistently negative valuation of
prisons seriously, it is imperative that Christians match their practical concern for
those in jail with a vocal critique of society’s increasing reliance on prison as a
strategy for social control. Even if we cannot subscribe to a complete prison
abolitionist agenda, the direction of biblical teaching, and the logic of God's self-
revelation as the One who sets prisoners free, should surely drive all Christians to
stand against every att

It was an encouragement passage for those who were persecuted because of their faith in God.
and no, Christians are not terrorists. People use religion to gain approval for their policial actions through out the age.
I disagree with the war in Iraq. We should not kill. And although the terrorists might be Muslims, but we cannot blame the whole Muslim population. Because we know that Muslim teaches their people not to kill, to be peaceful with everyone, etc
Christian and Muslim are actually sisters! - Both came from the same Jewish History (But Muslim's ancestor was Ishmael instead of Isaac [Arab descendants]).

You need to understand that not everyone who is running a jail in the U.S. or by the U.S. is a Christian. Besides, we need to understand that there are a lot of rumors that fly around about many things pertaining to this prison where terrorist are being held. And let's not forget, they are there for a reason. Usually, it is rare when an innocent person winds up in a prison like that in the first place. Any wrong doing is brought before the proper authorities and dealt with, as we have seen.
Your critique is taken out of context. The Bible isn't saying to set prisoniers free at all. I think you need someone to properly interpret that particular verse you are quoting.

Although at its heart, religion spreads the "do unto others" stuff, throughout history, more horrific things have been done in the name of religion than any other purpose. Both Christians and Muslims have committed many heinous acts in the name of God or Allah. We can't change the past. Nor should we make people living in the present suffer for the "sins of the father". The only thing we can have any control over is the future. We all need to stop pointing fingers and look for solutions that work for everyone. Only then can all of us live in peace.

Read carefully my Question and Answer: How is it then if you are so versed in what it is to be Christian that you yourself are not yet Christian? And as for Being Abusers of prisoners in jail.... ,a prisoner, one of those that have previously demonstrated ill- will towards others in society,( which by their actions caused them to be prisoners in the first place),....Abusers ,does not a terrorist make...And it has nothing to do with being Christian or not being a Christian...It has to do with the ones in charge of the prisons and prisoners it lies solely on those in charge of the prisioners as to what events however horrific allows themselves or others do to the prisoners, in general not just Muslim prisoners, but all prisoners....The US has recorded great numbers of tortures to inmates throughout the ages in their prison systems...And all of those in charge were eventually brought to justice...I am not saying this behavior is agreed upon by the public in general, and there are bad seeds in every profession as you probably all ready know...but, one cannot blame this behavior on Christians, for as you have read it and said for yourself ; this would be contradictory of Christian behavior and beliefs.....And therefore the word Christian can never be used in the same sentence as terrorist... However ,As presented the same cannot be said for the Muslim religion as they have demonstrated so perversely the crimes against humanity and many societies and are openly admitting to belong to the Muslim faith.....Take care seeker of unrest as the truth surrounds you and your questions can be again answered so readily as the Holy Bible really holds all !.....

You have to remember that the US Government works completely apart from the church system in the US. I believe that if the US were as strongly founded on Christian principles as it likes to believe it is (but really isn't), that people in prison camps would not be tortured and prisoners would be treated with the utmost love and respect regardless of their crimes. However, the prisons are manned by people that believe anyone in a prison is evil and deserves to be treated as such.

I don't know what translation of the Bible you have but Heb 13:3 is not a condemnation of prison. Setting prisoner free does not mean letting people out of jail. It means freeing them from the bonds of sin.

The people that are in prison deserve punishment for their deeds.
What about the innocent people outside of prison that are subject to the actions of insane violent men like Al Zarqawi?
How can these people be set free from terrorism?
And consider Muhammed;
He did all the same things that Zarqawi did and even worse!
He put his 54 year old penis into a 9 year old "Child"
http://www.geocities.com/AntiJihad/mo_pedo.html
The New Testament calls on believers to hate the kinds of actions of these "Horrendeous" men!
Shame on anyone who has looked up to them!

All religions are terrorist to a certain degree, just the muslims are more fierce about it and enjoy killing the innocent whereas christians it is usually done as collateral damage as part of war. Christians do not target inncocent bystanders though as muslims do so that is the difference. Muslims are too stupid to devise ways to attack and army or military post so they have to resort to simple tactics such as blowing themselves up in a public place. Muslims don't even know how to design a timer for a bomb as they are so simple minded and dumb. But, to believe in any religion in the first place you have to be pretty stupid to be brainwashed that much in the first place. Sucker.....

Yes but if the prisoners are an obvious threat to the safety of our country and people they have to be kept inside the prison. I'm sure that's how your country operates too. I don't want to lump the extremists with the genuine practicing Muslims but I'm sure you'd agree that public safety is our first priority. Respectfully.

Another person taking an epistle written more than 1900 years ago and placing it in our own time. Paul was referring to the believers of his time in the Roman Empire who were being imprisoned for their belief in Christ. Is anyone here or in Cuba imprisoned for simply being a Muslim? I seriously doubt it - though I suppose a few mistakes can be made. We try not to do that.
For those who do not realize, the Romans had Gods, and their citizens were *required* to worship them. Some of the Caesars wanted to be recognized as a God.
Paul's audience in that epistle was the Hebrews in the Roman Empire - he was writing to them and not us - though we should of course do similarly if anyone is imprisoned for their belief.
