Can anyone give me a step-by-step explanation on how to put music on my PSP memory card?

I have a PSP and a slot in my computer that accepts the memory card for it. Every time I try to put music, or anything for that matter, it shows up on my computer, but doesn't on the PSP system.

a-rob, thats what i have been doing, and its not working

when i put things in the music folder, it shows on my computer, but on my PSP it says that there are no tracks

I just connect the psp to the usb port
open the memory card through "my computer"
open the file "psp"
open the file "music"
put the music files here

done.
