i don't find out what i'm having till next month, but i can't wait what are some of the wives tales out there to try to guess the sex of my baby.......other once besides the shape of ur belly because my belly is not big enoght, i'm one of those lucky women that are still not showing .........

What does your "gut" tell you? Sometimes, women just know the sex of their baby. I had no idea! But I ended up with a boy and am so blessed.

Don't listen to the old wives tales. They said I was having a girl and I had a boy. Alot of woman have a feeling of what it is. I knew my son was a boy and now that I'm pregnant again I have a feeling it's a girl. I still say him or her though because I will feel guilty my baby's a boy and I've been calling him a girl. Just be patient and you'll find out soon.

Even ultrasound imaging cannot guarantee the sex of a child. As for the old wives tales, they are just that, tales. I was told I was having a girl because I carried high with my first son.

Just read in the paper yesterday that the shape of your belly has nothing to do with the baby's sex. Ultra sound is the only way to know for sure (and sometimes these aren't 100% either).

There are plenty of old wives tales but thats exactly what they are. The chances of them being right are 50/50 so I dont see the point.
I carried low with no morning sickness and had 2 girls so that theory really does not hold true.

I heard that if u prefer to eat sweets over healthier foods its a girl. BUT, my first was a boy, I dont even like ice cream but I ate tons of it when I was pregnant with him, so obviously that wasnt true. What is funny is my son is the only 3 year old I know that will eat and like cabbage and broccoli.

These are all the old wives tales that I know:
Girl:
-You carry high.
-Crave sweets
-More tired and more morning sickness
-You look terrible during your pregnancy (girls steel your beauty)
-Weight gain is evenly distributed around your body.
Boy:
-Carry low and in the front.
-Crave saltly foods.
-Have to shave more often (you produce more hair everywhere).
-Weight gain is only in the belly.

sour or junk is a boy snakes, snails and puupy dog tails
