I have been experiencing pain in my lower-left abdomen for a long time. From time to time, the pain starts up and then spreads till it reaches my ankle. Then it stays around for hours on end. Rest doesn't help. Only heat helps.

I recently had an operation to remove an ovarian cyst. It's gone, so it's not what's causing the pain.
However, a CT scan that showed bone sclerosis of the sacroiliac joints on both sides.

My question is, can bone sclerosis of the sacroilac joint actually cause pain in my lower abdomen, near my ovary? I feel the pain in my back at the same time, but mostly around the ovary (and in my leg).

My GP doesn't take anything seriously EVER. He seems to think it is normal for women to be in pain and have dizziness.
Therefore, I'd like to have some information before I return to him.
I can't live like this!!!

Thanks for your help!

Oh ear, you better go see some specialists,
it is nonesense that women should
put up with pain and have it considered as Normal!!!
Get yourself another GP, one that is willing to take it seriosly,
and refer you to an experienced Specialist. good luck.
