SealRBorders, thank you for asking and please allow me to say....HELL YES! I AM SICK AND TIRED OF FREELOADING MEXICANS!!!

Like you, I hate our government also. They are so useless and spineless. The Minutemen are not vigilantes. I find it ironic that dumbass Bush can call them that when they operate within the boundaries of the law. Yet, he wants to give millions of criminal Mexicans amnesty. He seriously needs a dictionary.

For those of you who don't like these comments, we are Americans who have a right to say what we want to say, if you don't like it, please GO BACK TO MEXICO. We don't want you here.

The Minutemen are a 'vigilance' group. There is a difference between that and a 'vigilante', an illegal immigrant would naturally choose to call The Minutemen the name that sounds most violent to them. Here are the definitions of both words:
vigilante --somebody who punishes lawbreakers personally and illegally rather than relying on the legal authorities (The Minutemen do not apprehend those illegally crossing the border, they call the authorities)

vigilance--the condition of being watchful and alert, especially to danger(The Minutemen watch for illegal entry and report them)

Those who keep saying the ignorant, illogical and irrational comments on here will never change. They refuse to see the truth. You are wasting your time trying to convince them. All the questions about illegal immigrants have been asked, answered (100's of times)and they keep asking the same questions and keep getting the same answers, it's just rhetoric. It's just a new bunch comes on and an older bunch leave Y!A.

A vigilante takes the law into their own hands - that includes arrest and dispensing justice - something the Minutemen don't do. They are more like a "Neighborhood Watch", and America is the neighborhood (I know it sounds corny, but it's true). They call Law Enforcement when they spot illegal activity (which is CONSTANT on the Mexican border) and the Law Enforcement (Border Patrol) respond and make the apprehension. I agree that it's wrong to call them racists - I see some morons referring to them as KKK. When the majority of Americans sees behavior like that, it just pisses them off more (like you and me) and it further alienates the aliens. It only strengthens our resolve to fight this all the way, and helps our cause. REAL Americans support the Minutemen and appreciate what they're doing. God Bless the USA!!

Um... Minutemen ARE vigilantes. I say that with all respect and support for what they are doing. They are civilians enforcing the law, and that is the definition of a vigilante. Because that has in our history sometimes turned into violence, and because the law is supposed to be enforced by the government, 'vigilante' has a bad connotation in our society.

However, I am not afraid of accurate terminology.

It is a failure of our government that we NEED to have vigilantes.

Only the ignorant and those with a political agenda call them vigilantes. These are concerned citizens who are exercising their rights and moral obligation to help protect our national sovereignty.

Yes I'm tired of that often repeated lie as well as the lie that being anti illegal immigration is racist. Being a Mexican, Latino or Hispanic is an ethnicity not a separate race.

I believe in free migration of all people to any other place on the planet. I think that it's wrong to harass and threaten another.

Vigilante is one who takes or advocates the taking of law enforcement into one's own hands.

If you think the minutemen are not vigilantes you need a new dictionary.

Our nation was founded by immigrants, and unless you are a full blooded Native American, you are one or the descendent of immigrants. The problem is that today's aliens are not becoming Americans. They are like colonists, keeping their language and customs. I'm not even going to start on the illegal drugs, etc.Unless a person is going to truly assimilate his new homeland, he needs to stay the HELL out, and more power to any Minutemen or border patrol or National Guardsmen who can keep them the HELL out!!!!
