if you get along and have fun then what is the difference - has there been a negative effect on your life? if not, go with it.

It is a little odd, but not out of the question. I just think that a 21 yr old male would be way less mature than a 29 year old female and that at this stage in their lives they would want different things. But if they are compatible then I dont think there is anything wrong with that age difference.

It does sound that way, but you know if the roles were reversed and you were a 29 year old MAN dating a 21 year old woman, then I dont think this would even be a question on here. So, do what you want, and just be prepared for some raised eyebrows.

Are you living your life on what others think? Hey, don't live or don't do anything to elicit human respect as long as you behave respectfully and honorably to all. This is your life and you are doing nothing illegal, vulgar, or socially unbecoming. Your attitude towards matters that personally concern your well-being should not be influenced unduly by the opinions of others. If you are, you should disregard them. Have you seen a 50-year old man dating a 25-year old girl? What do others say of the man? Or, the girl? If both of them feel comfortable with each other, do they care? 'cest la vie... Don't live for the world, enjoy yourself as long as you are not committing a crime.

Yup age Doesn't matter as long as you go along well and he's matured enough to handle a relationship...these is just a little age gap some age gap we're big ..so don't worry 29 is not old...k enjoy your date don't think of age it will help you grow old

it's fine. i recently dated a 23 yr old and i'm 35. i was very worried about the age difference but it didn't seem to bother her at all. i didn't look at her as a regular 23 yr old. she was more mature then me sometimes. don't think about it too much. you'll be fine

no your only 8 yrs different, you might find that he is immature! I am 22 and can not deal with lads my age !!! Think I'm gonna go for someone with a bit more life experience and knowledge next time round and who can introduce me to new things.

People are gonna have something to say no matter what you do. If you want to do it then do it. I'm 26 and dating a 23 year old and people talk about that, but I don't care.

I am 33 and my husband is 24 and we get along good. Age aint nothin but a #. Some people are more mature than others.

There is nothing wrong with that, I am over 30 and wouldn`t eliminate anyone because of their age unless they were under 18 or over 50.
