Cardio will help you burn more calories. Strength training will make your body look more solid and help your bones be strong. Both are important.

Cardio. That allows you to burn more calories than strength training. Shoot for a goal of 40-45 minutes 5 days a week, then when you get there, turn up the intensity. The other half of this is eating a healthy diet, with good foods in reasonable portions.

cardio. Strength training burns calories as well, but it builds muscle which weighs more then fat. Cardio is the best way to lose weight along with diet. You should take the amount of calories you have during the day and cut that by 500.

A good combo of both would really be the best.. But if anything i def stick by cardio! It never fails!! Depending on how active you are now be careful in startin out.. Personally i never MOVED!! But joined field hockey my seniior year of highschool which is basically ALLL runnin! We we're pushed to run SO much everyday! At first it was a struggle, but its nice to see the progress you make!! By the end of the year i was super thin and in great shape!! and <33'ed it! And i really didnt do anything else physical other than run! Of course as a result of bein so active i did eat a little less, because i wasnt just goin home and eatin i was goin out on the field to play everyday! So you gotta watch the food too which im sure you know!......also to tone up the body a few squats and crunches never hurt! And light to heavy weight liftin depending if youre tryin to just tone or build big muscles ..idk which is for you
Gee good luck to you!! And i hope this sorta helps! =))

They have proven a combination of both is best. Cardio exercise such as fast walking, running, treadmill, etc will raise your metabolic rate to help burn calories.
Weight training will build muscle that burns calories better and also helps to tighten the loose skin and sagging that occurs after losing weight.

about 40 mins of cardio and 20 mins of weight training, 5 days a week for 2 months.
also change your diet to reduce weight faster.
this is how it works, if you burn more calories then you eat - you loose weight. best calorie burner - Cardio
however, when you stop the excercise the calorie burning returns to normal, but if you do weight training, your calorie burning remains high for upto 2 days after you finish excercise!
keep increaseing duration and intensity of cardio and weights. and dont worry, in 2 months you will be "cut" but not become muscluar

Cardio is the best for burning calories and losing weight. If you are considered obese (by your BMI), do cardio exercises (such as the treadmill, the stairmaster, and the exercise bike) until you lose your desired weight. Later you can do the strength building exercises to build muscle.

Both. While it's true that strength training builds muscle which weighs more than fat, muscle also burns calories so it's beneficial. Besides, muscle looks much better than fat! Try a circuit routine which will allow you the benefits of cardio and strength training. Good luck!
