How do I find out if I have a DVD burner on my Macintosh computer? (Running Mac OS X)?

Open System Profiler from your utilities folder OR
Click the Apple Icon in the top left corner of your screen. Select "About This Mac" from the pull-down menu. Then click the "More Info..." button.

Select "Disk Burning" under "Hardware" in the sidebar of the System Profiler, and it will give you the information you want.
