Use a hairdryer & a scrapper. Slowly warm the top op the lino & scrape underneath. It's a slow job though!

The linoleum is only one of the problems. The glue is the other. If you manage to remove the linoleum, to remove the glue you will need to use Jasco. I have found that this is the only thing that removes old linoleum and glue, and it is harmless to wood floors. You will very likely have to refinish them after you do this. They will inevitably get scratched with trying to remove the linoleum. Good luck...

i don't know, i think some damage is inevitable, you will most likely have to refinish wood floor after removal....i can ask my boyfriend for any ideas...he's been installing floors (vinyl, carpet, tile), and removing existing flooring for years....i'll check with him and get back to you. :)
