It's plausible, but certainly not provable. It makes more sense than a guy walking on water though.

POSSIBLE SPOILER WARNING FOR "The Da Vinci Code"
First of all the story by Dan Brown is fiction meaning the actual events in the book are fiction for instance when Jacques is murdered in the beginning that never happened or the two running around Europe with an old guy never happened. The classification of Fiction just means that most of the story's events have never happened to the writer's knowledge. But the idea of Jesus being married to mary magdalne has been around for a long time it could be fact or fiction. Just because the idea is presented to the mass population in a fiction book doesnt make the idea of Jesus and Mary being married false. The marriage would have been between 15-36 AD(estimated life of Jesus started at 0 AD and he died supposedly in 36 AD), which is in the past and because I wasnt there in the past I cant say yes its true or no its not true but i can say Dan Brown didnt make up the part about Mary Magdalene being married to Jesus Christ. He simply popularized it.

The Da Vinci Code is found in the fiction section of your local book store. So that means it is a fictional story. Meaning the story about Mary Magdalene is false.

Once more, the DaVinci Code is fiction. Say it with me kids!

It's not a "lie" told by Dan Brown. It's FICTION. That's what writers do! The fact that Narnia never existed doesn't make C.S. Lewis a liar.

No one knows the absolute truth about events surrounding the life of Jesus. The bible tells the story, but we must remember that the bible was written by MEN, not god. Additionally, the gospels weren't recorded until much, MUCH later after the events had transpired.

Dan Brown said his book is fiction, so we really should believe him. Mary Magdelene was a female disciple of Christ Jesus.

I bet you get your history from the movies too. Like the Japanese really waved hello to the little children when they bombed Pearl Harbor (reference to the film which was a poor representation of the history of the event). The book is fiction. Look up the word in the dictionary.

Most of it is false. I went through a series for the pros and cons of the book. It is definitely wrong. Besides, the author said it was fiction on several occasions.

There is absolutely no truth to that story. Dan Brown himself says his book is fiction.

Dan Brown has already made it clear. It is all FICTION. Just for casual reading so don't take it seriously.
