Hard work, is important, but more important is smart work. There is no point in shoveling away a hillside if you have a bulldozer with you or bulldozing a bucket full of mud if you have a shovel with you.
Keep up the hard work-failures, it is said are steeping stones to success.
All da best!

There is no substitute for hard work means that if something REQUIRES hard work then trying to do something else will not work..
The reality is that there are very few things where hard work is REQUIRED. In most situations, being a good bs'er, having money , being good looking,or intellligent enough to get people to work hard FOR you, is a little more advantageous. Sad for some , but true nonetheless.
The only time hard work is REQUIRED is when you require it of yourself in order to feel successful. When that is the case, then the fact that you worked hard on something is it's own reward and not the outcome.
Quit bustin your butt . Get the outcome you desire... Sounds like that would make you more fulfilled...

Because you do not believe in yourself. You are being to negative about yourself. You may also be in the wrong line of work. In order to succeed, you have to enjoy the work you do (whether it is hard work or not) and believe in your ability to do it. If you do not enjoy your work and do not believe in yourself, no matter how hard you work, you will fail. I think your biggest problem is not believing in yourself. You think you are predisposed to failure, so you inevitably fail. You have to change the way you think and have a more positive attitude.

That is a load of rubbish, I don`t do hard work and I love my carefree life and I have plenty of time for doing fun things, plenty of cash for buying fun things, and am very healthy, so "don`t work hard if you don`t want to"

Sometimes it seems like no matter what you try, it's just not getting you anywhere. Just keep at it, the tables will eventually turn and you will then understand why you went through everything that you did.

you have to tackle the small problems first and work your way up to the big ones. It takes awhile, but it's worth it. It took me 8 years to turn my credit life around.

Because you look at challenges as failures. You are pessamistic. Glass is half empty instead of half full.
