It always seems awkward because we get out-of-sink or I don't feel like I'm doing anything for him at all...

don't fear. I bet you any money that it's probably his favorite position, no matter how "bad" you think you are.

I always get self-conscious, too. A good idea is to sit up and grind your hips into him, but use his chest as leverage. Even try leaning back some and using his thighs to hold you up.

Don't be scared. Sex is about opening up. If he doesn't like something, then he should be the one to voice it.

Generally unless you both have good rhythm going. (Which can be hard to achieve early in a relationship.) Only one of you should be doing major amounts of thrusting. Experiment around with the guy being passive or you. Honestly as a man some of the best sex I've had has been when I staged a revolt from below.

PS- You might try buying one of the various books that show positions. In addition to being a turn on you may find a position you are both more comfortable with.

You know, I'm 35 and I still don't do "on top" well. Some women are just not made for it I guess. It's a pity too because men seem to love it. Just try practicing and doing your best. I know no matter how much I think I suck at it, my bf tells me to just sit up there and he'll do most of the work. So I just do that for him, even though I'd rather not be up there at all!

Good luck!

Just relax. If the guy you are doing it with is good, he will work with you in getting it right. If you still feel unconfortable, you may want to try other positions. There's more than one way to enjoy yourself!

Watch Queens of Comedy. Funny but true about pretending you are doing the hula hoop.

its going to feel like that until you feel confident in what your doing. If all else fails watch little clips of porn to get an idea and then try it out on him. Trust me he will tell you if he likes it or not

rule number one about sex, do not do it if it you do not want to do it. actually there is little one does in sex that is 'wrong' if both parties communicate. explain your fears ask him if it something he really wants. if it is, ask him for help in what to do, ask him to let you know as you are on top if it feels good or not. sex is meant to be enjoyed, not dreaded.

TRUST ME AS LONG AS YOU ON TOP HE'LL FEEL GOOD...
DONT THINK TO HARD ABOUT IT BECAUSE YOU WONT HAVE FUN DOING IT...
JUST RIDE HIM...AS LONG AS YOU'RE MOVING THEY'LL STILL LIKE IT..
PRETEND LIKE YOU DANCING MOVE YOU HIP UP AND DOWN....
YOU'LL GET USED TO IT...
THATS' HOW I FELT WHEN I STARTED BUT THE MORE YOU DO IT YOU'LL KNOW WHAT HE LIKES AND WHAT NOT....
JUST BE CONFIDENT..
